April Leather, BLUF & Cigar Social Recap

Friday night we returned to the Polo Lounge at the Oxford Hotel for our April Leather, BLUF & Cigar Social, and what started as a potentially quieter night quickly came alive. With a wave of interstate visitors joining us after the Australian Leather Meet & Greet, the room filled with energy, connection, and that unmistakable SLM spirit.

The atmosphere was exactly what we strive for, warm, welcoming, and buzzing. New faces mixed seamlessly with familiar ones, and the night unfolded with plenty of laughs, great conversations, and meaningful connections.

We’ve also heard some feedback around music levels and will be taking the time to review and check in with the community in the coming months to make sure the event experience continues to hit the right note.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting couple of moments coming up. Our AGM takes place on Saturday 2nd May (RSVP required via the homepage), followed by a special send-off on Sunday 3rd May for Sydney Mr Leather 2025, Luis, as he prepares to represent our community in Chicago at International Mr Leather (IML). We’re proud to stand behind him and wish him every success on the international stage.
