We have also adopted the dress code of Leather\, Denim and Uniform. While we love seeing everyone dressed to impress\, newcomers and aspiring leather men are warmly welcomed even if they’re not fully outfitted. We do ask that you make an effort\, and if you plan to join us regularly\, consider investing in some leather gear to embrace the full experience! \nLocation: Join us upstairs at Middle Bar @ Kinsela’s Hotel on Taylor Square. Enjoy the stunning views from the glass balcony overlooking Taylor Square as you showcase your favourite leather and mingle with like-minded brothers. Although we share the space\, as the evening progresses\, we tend to take over—creating an atmosphere of true camaraderie and connection. \nAt SLM Inc.\, we’re proud to foster an inclusive and inviting space for all who identify as male or masculine and are attracted to others who do the same\, whether from birth or through gender-affirming expression. DESCRIPTION:Sydney Leather Weekend 2023 \nThis year SLW23 brings together some leather social events and education and bringing back a titleholder fundraiser event.\n\nCommUNITY Leather Social.\nALL GENDERS\, ALL ORIENTATIONS\, ALL PRONOUNS\, ALL LEATHER\n\nITS FREE ENTRY\n\nSydney Leathermen & Sydney Leather Weekend 2023 Present UNITY.\n\nUNITY is a social gathering designed to bring ALL the leather community together\, socialise\, bond and build strong friendships with other like minded leather folk.\n\nThe venue is Level 1 Cocktail Bar @ The Colombian Hotel on Cnr Crown & Oxford Streets Surry Hills (upstairs).\n\nThe event has a Leather Dress Code with a minimum of one major piece preferred. Leather newcomers and aspiring Leather folk are welcome and can attend without complying with the Dress Code.\n\nWe have exclusive use of this bar space until 11pm\, a DJ will start at 10pm but prior to this the sound levels will be background to allow leather community to socialise and get to know each other.\n\nThere is a smoking space terrace on on this level and Lift access for those with mobility needs.

DESCRIPTION:Sydney Leathermen Presents a ‘POP Up’ Leather & Cigar Bar in the Inner West for Likeminded Leathermen. \nFREE Entry \nThis is an SLM Leather & Cigar Bar Social on the rooftop of the ‘Townie’ overlooking Newtown Station and surrounds. Transport like buses and trains are right at the door step. \nLike our normal events this is ‘testing the waters’ for having something more regular in the Inner West. (don’t fear we intend to continue to hold events in town). These socials are about Leather Men being able to connect\, bond  and enjoy Leather gear\, cigars and Tabaco Pipes and basically socialise without attitude in a friendly and accepting environment. \nOur venue is The Cactus Rooftop Bar at The Townie (aka Townhall Hotel Newtown). There is a lift for those who don’t feel up to the stairs and can be accessed from the rear of the ground floor. Food is available on the Roof top but will need to be consumed away from the smoking space and for those keen for a whickey and a Cigar there is a selection of spirits and beers are by the ‘tinnie’ can except for 1 reasonable tap beer. Please note that on the rooftop only drinks bought on the rooftop can be consumed on the rooftop area and you wont be able to bring drinks up without putting them in plastic. (again we are testing how this will go) \nThis Event has a Major piece of Leather & Boots Dress Code & BYO Cigars. \nMembers guests\, newcomers and aspiring Leathermen are absolutely welcome and can attend once without complying fully with the Dress Code. After one attendance they will be required to borrow or buy a major piece of leather.

We do not have exclusive access but it is generally quiet at this time of the evening so we should be fine. If There is an event booked in the space from 10pm we will move downstairs.\nThis Event has a Leather & Boots Dress Code Requirement. The Venue has requested no bare arses\, no jock straps or excessive revealing outfits. Members guests\, newcomers and aspiring Leather men are absolutely welcome and can attend once without complying with the Dress Code. After one attendance they will be required to borrow or buy a major piece.\nThe venue has a lovely outdoor balcony for those Leather Cigar Men\, but please note if its rains there is limited shade.
