End of Year Picnic – Leather Feast

Today was something truly special. Our community gathered at Lachlan Reserve in Centennial Park for the final official SLM event of 2025, and what a beautiful way to close out the year. The weather stayed mild but dry and we were thankful after yesterdays heat.

We were honoured by the presence of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SOPI), who joined us for a heartfelt blessing of the Sydney Leather Men community. Their warmth, spirit, and generosity added something magical to the afternoon, and we thank them deeply for attending, spending time with us, and sharing in the joy. We look forward to collaborating with the Sisters again in 2026.

The picnic itself was filled with everything that makes our community shine, great conversations, plenty of laughter, ball games, Finska, and an incredible spread of food thanks to everyone who brought share plates and goodies to enjoy. The vibe was relaxed, friendly, and full of connection… the perfect final note for the year.

Thank you to everyone who came along, shared food, played games, or simply enjoyed the company. Today reminded us once again that community is our greatest strength.

Here’s to an amazing 2025, and an even bigger 2026 ahead.
