Friday night marked our last official monthly social of 2025 — and our final event of the year at The Oxford Hotel. What a way to finish.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the crowd was strong, and while we nudged the record books again, we didn’t quite push past it this time. Still, there were lots of first timers and new faces, which we’re incredibly grateful for — thank you for choosing to spend your Friday night with us.

A huge thank you to Gillian and the entire Oxford Hotel team. This was our first full year hosting at The Oxford, with 10 socials and a handful of extra events, and they’ve been supportive every step of the way.

We were also thrilled to have DJ Urpsyne playing live for us this month. Their music always gives the space a great vibe, but having them live lifted the room, slightly louder than usual, sure, but the energy and the connections happening around the venue didn’t skip a beat.

We’ll send a separate reminder soon, but we want to reinforce our Consent Culture Statement. Recently we’ve had guests who seemed unsure or unaware that gear is not an invitation. Please remember:

• Always ask before touching someone.

• Be especially mindful of muir caps, chains, locks, and protocol items.

• Consent first. Always.

UNITY – Friday 5th December at Darling Nikki’s
Free entry. A final big night to bring the community together.
This time we’ve brought in DJ George Roussos playing in the dance room from 8pm.
Please support local, community-led events, they only thrive because you show up.

Leather Feast Picnic – Sunday 7th December
Lachlan Reserve, under the trees near the duck pond.
BYO, from 12pm–5pm.
Plenty of shade, toilets, a mobile café nearby, and we’ll bring games, balls, and bits for the sporty or the silly.
