UNITY Social February 2026 Recap

UNITY Social: an afternoon that truly lived up to its name

Yesterday’s UNITY Social was one of those afternoons that reminds us why this event exists. Supported by Women & Queers of Kink and Dykes on Bikes, and held at the always-welcoming Darling Nikki’s, the space was full of warmth, colour, and connection from the moment doors opened.

The crowd was beautifully diverse. Some people popped in for a quick drink and a hello, others settled in and stayed for the long haul. The vibe was so good that we accidentally ran an hour over time, and yes, at 9pm we did have to kick everyone out. It was a school night after all 😉

We were also excited to welcome Cigar Society into the UNITY space for the first time. It was great to see members of the SLM and WAQK communities come together around cigars, conversation, and curiosity, another example of how UNITY continues to make room for different fetishes and interests under one inclusive roof.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and brought such a happy, respectful, and open energy to the afternoon. Events like this only work because of the people who show up and help create the atmosphere.

We’re already looking ahead to the next UNITY in early July and continuing to work with the other community groups to evolve and grow this event, welcoming, supporting, and making space for all fetish and kink.
